June 11, 2022, one day before my 51st birthday, I tasted this rose at The Wine Crush with a group of new friends I’d made since our recent move to Long Beach, CA in April. The first sip of this refreshing “taste of bright sunshine,” as I called it, marked the beginning of new friendships and a near-weekly destination I’ve returned to time and again.
